» about tim panella
A musician and sound designer, Tim Panella is best known for his soundtrack work for the television series VH1 ILLustrated, which aired on VH1 and MTV worldwide beginning in 2003, and for a remix of Yes' “Long Distance Runaround”, which played over the end credits of the Dreamtime documentary (from Yes' Live in Amsterdam DVD), produced by Camp Chaos Entertainment.

Between 2000 and 2005, during his tenure with Camp Chaos, Tim produced numerous original soundtracks to accompany their web animations and online interactives (many of which are available for listening here), and worked on a diverse range of other media projects, including two feature films. The highlights from this era included a songwriting collaboration with actress Nia Peeples, and working with singer Mark Slaughter on the track “Thumbs Up To The USA”, a tongue-in-cheek patriotic anthem that was prominently featured in The War Effort, an independent film produced and directed by filmmaker Bob Cesca. Tim's work was also featured in Internet Audio magazine (a Mix publication), and in trade publications for Mackie, and Sonic Foundry (now Sony Media Software).

With more than 10 years industry experience composing music for film, television, and the web, and more than 25 years writing and remixing songs, Tim is currently working on several soundtrack projects for Jet Morgan games. Starting in 2007, Tim produced hundreds of original music clips and sound effects for Pixel Chix™ and Barbie® online interactives.

Tim Panella lives in Abington, PA with his wife Tracy and their three children.
